Hi, I'm Andrew Smith, a website, app and software developer, currently employed full-time as a web developer at the BBC working on the iPlayer website, but I also do freelance development in my free time. I have 10 years of website development experience and love making websites that work across many devices.
Prior to my current job, I worked at the BBC for 23 months as a Graduate Developer and, before that, studied at University of Surrey, where I was awarded an MSc with distinction in Internet Computing and a first class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.
My interests include various types of software development, baking, photography, DJing, media and stage lighting.
What I Do
I create websites for individuals, sports clubs and businesses, from scratch, fully customised to the requirements. I can work with as few or as many designs as you have, creating a modern and user-friendly experience across many devices.
Apparently, there's an app for just about anything, but if you find you're in need of one to complete a task or for your business, I can create both native iOS and Android apps to fullfil your requirements.
I provide UK hosting for several websites, with unlimited traffic, support for PHP & MySQL and a high-level of uptime on a Linux platform. I provide different types of hosting packages to suit the requirements for your website.
I provide UK hosting for several business email accounts, with plenty of storage space and spam protection, using IMAP and SMTP, and SSL support. I provide different types of email packages to suit your requirements.
